Ken Baldwin was captivated early on as a child with the vivid illustrations of Treasure Island by NC Wyeth.
After serving in the US Navy with the Weather Service as an illustrator, it was then on to the Naval Oceanographic Office and US Army as a civilian graphic artist and illustrator.
As a commercial and fine artist, he’s exhibited in the US and Europe with a variety of artistic styles, themes and techniques, along with the ancient art of scrimshaw.
In the initial 1970s, while attending art school in Cincinnati for design, advertising, and illustration, that set the course of the direction for his career.
A long-time musician and composer of music and lyrics, he has dozens of recordings and albums documenting his original musical work that is periodically broadcast on NPR stations, musical streaming services, community theater, and cable documentaries.
